Remittance context from Kuwait
Unlike most Gulf currencies, the Kuwaiti dinar is not pegged only to the US dollar; it tracks a currency basket. That means the dinar amount equal to USD 100 shifts slightly over time. Remittances from Kuwait fall in the GCC region.
Eligibility explained for families of Kuwait-based Pakistanis
The rules are the same for every country. The person in Pakistan becomes eligible for a quarter’s draw when their account receives a home remittance worth at least USD 100 in each of the three months of that quarter. No UAE-, Gulf- or country-specific rules have been published.
In KWD: The Kuwaiti dinar is linked to a basket of currencies rather than fixed to the dollar, so its USD value moves a little. USD 100 has been roughly KWD 30–31; check the current rate when you send.

- Confirm the recipient’s account is a personal Pakistani-rupee account, not a Roshan Digital Account.

Practical tips
Because the dinar floats against the dollar within its basket, sending an amount comfortably above the threshold each month is the simplest way to avoid falling just short after fees and conversion.
Kuwait is two hours behind Pakistan (AST, UTC+3). The scheme counts a remittance in the month it is processed in Pakistan.
Regional prize allocation
Remittances from Kuwait are in the GCC region. Per draw, that region’s pool includes 10 second prizes (PKR 25M), 50 third prizes (PKR 10M) and 1,190 fourth prizes (PKR 1M), according to the official terms for the first two draws. The PKR 100 million First Prize is drawn from all regions together.
Draw information
The first draw is on 15 January 2027 and covers remittances received from 1 October to 31 December 2026. Results are announced on the draw day without personal details, and winners are contacted by their own bank. See draw dates.
FAQs for Kuwait
Why does the KWD amount for USD 100 change?
The Kuwaiti dinar is managed against a basket of currencies, so its dollar value moves slightly. The scheme converts the credited amount at the SBP daily rate when processed.
My family has a Roshan Digital Account. Can I send there?
You can send there for other reasons, but Roshan Digital Account inflows are excluded from Pasban. Use a personal rupee account to qualify.
Which prize pool does Kuwait belong to?
The GCC region pool for 2nd–4th prizes, plus the all-region First Prize.
How many prizes are there for the GCC?
Under the official terms, for the first two draws the GCC region has 10 second prizes, 50 third prizes and 1,190 fourth prizes per draw. The First Prize is open to all regions.
